About the artist

The world redrawnline by line.

David Furler creates intricate pen-and-ink worlds where familiar streets, imagined buildings and small visual stories meet. Each drawing begins with observation and grows into a place of its own.

Working note

“A drawing does not have to explain a place. It only has to make you want to enter it.

David’s work sits between architecture, memory and invention. Buildings bend, roads wander and scale becomes deliberately uncertain. The result is detailed without feeling fixed — every image leaves room for the viewer to complete the story.

This is placeholder copy for the first version of the About page. It can later be replaced with David’s biography, exhibition history and a more personal description of his practice.
